Staff Accommodation & Logistics Coordinator – Niseko Winter 2026–2027

Two positions available for the 2026–2027 winter season.

Looking for Niseko winter jobs with real responsibility and variety? Join Niseko Kids Club for the 2026–2027 winter season as our Staff Accommodation & Logistics Coordinator.

This is a hands-on operational role responsible for coordinating staff transportation and company vehicles, supporting our staff accommodation, assisting with snow clearing and property logistics, and helping ensure our winter operations run smoothly.

The position requires excellent organisation, safe and confident winter driving, practical problem-solving skills and a high level of flexibility. Our childcare and babysitting schedules can change at short notice, so you must be comfortable adapting transport plans and responding to changing operational needs.

About the Role

As our Staff Accommodation & Logistics Coordinator, you will help manage the day-to-day logistics that support our seasonal team throughout the winter.

A major part of the position is coordinating staff transportation. Our babysitting team works at hotels, apartments and private accommodation throughout the Niseko area, with booking times varying from day to day. You will review upcoming staff schedules, plan transportation requirements, allocate company vehicles and ensure staff can safely get to and from their assigned work locations.

You will also support the operation of our staff accommodation and company vehicle fleet, including snow clearing, vehicle preparation, property inspections, minor maintenance and general seasonal logistics.

Staff Transportation & Vehicle Coordination

  • Review staff bookings and transportation requirements each day.
  • Plan and coordinate transportation for babysitters and other staff.
  • Determine which staff members require transport and which can use available company vehicles.
  • Allocate staff vehicles based on daily operational requirements.
  • Drive staff to and from work locations when required.
  • Ensure early-morning and late-night transportation requirements are organised and covered.
  • Respond to last-minute transport changes caused by babysitting extensions, booking changes or other operational needs.
  • Communicate transportation plans clearly with staff and management.
  • Help ensure company vehicles are used safely and responsibly.

Flexibility is essential for this position. Babysitting bookings can change at short notice, including changes to finishing times and pickup requirements. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring required transportation is organised and covered. This does not mean personally driving every journey; it includes coordinating drivers, allocating staff vehicles and adjusting transport arrangements when necessary.

Company Vehicle Management

  • Monitor the condition and availability of company vehicles.
  • Keep vehicles fuelled and ready for staff use.
  • Keep company vehicles clean and presentable.
  • Remove snow and ice buildup from vehicles when required.
  • Identify maintenance or repair requirements and report or arrange them as appropriate.
  • Assist with vehicle servicing, inspections and other operational requirements.
  • Help ensure vehicle keys and vehicle allocation are organised.

Staff Accommodation Support

  • Support the day-to-day operation of Niseko Kids Club staff accommodation.
  • Conduct room and property inspections when required.
  • Assist with staff arrivals, departures and accommodation-related logistics.
  • Carry out or coordinate minor maintenance and basic repairs.
  • Identify maintenance issues and report larger problems to management.
  • Assist staff with practical accommodation-related issues when appropriate.
  • Help ensure staff housing rules and operational procedures are followed.

Snow Clearing & Winter Property Maintenance

  • Assist with regular snow clearing at our two staff accommodation properties.
  • Keep entrances, walkways, parking areas and other required access points safe and accessible.
  • Clear snow from company vehicles when required.
  • Monitor winter conditions and respond appropriately to heavy snowfall.
  • Assist with general winter property maintenance and safety checks.

Staff Parking, Garbage & General Logistics

  • Organise staff parking arrangements at our accommodation properties.
  • Ensure staff understand and follow designated parking requirements.
  • Assist with garbage and recycling management at staff accommodation.
  • Support deliveries, supply runs and other operational errands when required.
  • Assist management with practical logistics throughout the winter season.

Salary

¥250,000 per month

Overtime and statutory premium payments are paid separately where applicable in accordance with Japanese labour requirements.

Benefits

  • Subsidized staff accommodation.
  • Season ski pass benefit for eligible staff, subject to the applicable completion requirements.
  • End-of-season completion bonus.
  • Uniform and necessary work equipment.
  • Training and operational support.
  • Selected staff discounts and benefits at Niseko Hanazono Resort.

Contract & Schedule

We are recruiting for two seasonal positions:

  • Position 1: November 25, 2026 – April 5, 2027
  • Position 2: December 15, 2026 – March 7, 2027

Employment: Full-time seasonal position

Working hours vary according to snowfall, staff transportation requirements, babysitting schedules and other operational needs.

This position requires a high level of schedule flexibility. Early-morning, evening, weekend and public-holiday work may be required, and transportation arrangements can sometimes change at short notice.

Actual working time must be recorded. Where applicable, overtime and statutory late-night premiums are paid separately.

Requirements

  • A valid Japanese driver’s licence or a valid International Driving Permit that allows you to legally drive in Japan.
  • Confidence driving safely in winter and snowy conditions.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple staff movements and changing schedules.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and reliably with staff and management.
  • Comfortable using messaging, scheduling and other basic digital tools for daily coordination.
  • Physically capable of snow clearing and other hands-on winter duties.
  • Basic practical ability with minor maintenance and property-related tasks.
  • Responsible, dependable and safety-conscious.
  • Proactive and able to identify and solve problems without constant supervision.
  • Comfortable responding calmly to last-minute operational changes.
  • Conversational English sufficient for communicating with our international team.
  • Must already have legal eligibility to work in Japan for the duration of the employment period.

Who Is This Role Suitable For?

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, driving, organisation and problem solving, and who prefers a varied working day rather than being based at a desk.

You should be comfortable taking ownership of an important part of our winter operation. We are looking for someone who can look ahead, identify potential transport or accommodation issues and take action before they become problems.

Because our babysitting services operate according to guest bookings, this position is particularly suited to someone who can remain organised while adapting to changing schedules.
